Unplug and Skill Up! Cub Scouts is the ultimate hands-on classroom. We trade screen time for real-world experiences, helping kids develop face-to-face communication skills, practice teamwork, and explore the great outdoors—all essential skills they need for life.

Prepare for Epic Thrills! Adventure is what we do best. While camping, swimming, and fishing are Pack favorites, the fun never stops. Expect spontaneous joy through bicycling, hiking, service projects, and exploration that turns every outing into an unforgettable memory.

We're Not New to Adventure!
Pack 208 was founded way back in 1952, and we've been building leaders and having fun as part of the Scouting America Long Beach Area Council ever since!

While our official home base is Holmes Elementary School in Lakewood, CA (where we meet every other month), we don't stay still for long! We are constantly exploring fun spots in the community, with Pack events often held at local parks, bowling alleys, or climbing gyms. For the weekly adventure fix, individual dens meet once a week to build friendships and skills while working on adventures.
Ready to Climb the Adventure Ladder?
Pack 208 offers a clear path for every boy and girl, from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Scouts advance through the ranks—starting as Lions (Kindergarten) and growing into Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and finally reaching Arrow of Light (AOL) status in Fifth Grade! Every rank has its own small group, called a Den, for focused fun and learning.

Cub Scouting with us means hands-on adventures for the whole family, from exploring the outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing!) to thrilling pack events like the famous Pinewood Derby. We also make time for team games, creative crafting, and meaningful volunteering.
